Hosting & server logs

This website is delivered via Cloudflare's edge network (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When the site is accessed, technically necessary data is processed (IP address, time, requested resource, user agent) in order to deliver the site reliably and securely. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable operation). A transfer to third countries (USA) may take place; Cloudflare relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Playable demo

The site embeds a playable demo (Spreewald) that runs as a web application in the browser. The game files are only loaded from Cloudflare R2 (Cloudflare, Inc.) once you click „Start Spreewald"; this processes technically necessary connection data. No user account is created, and no personal data is collected or passed on to third parties. Demo save games are stored locally in the browser only. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Fonts & cookies

This website uses only locally hosted fonts served from its own server („EB Garamond", „Cinzel", „Great Vibes" and „Atkinson Hyperlegible", each under a free license). No Google Fonts or other external font services are loaded. No tracking cookies are set. Only the chosen display settings (light/dark mode, readability) are stored locally in the browser and serve operation only. There is therefore no cookie banner.

Sales

No sales take place via this site. The full version is purchased in the Kontor on alte-brennerei-ribbeck.de, where its own notices on privacy and payment processing apply.

Rights of data subjects

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Requests can be sent informally to the email address named in the imprint. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
